this is the BEST sunday ever. after church, Andrew and i went to Provo Tabernacle to attend to the BYU Stake Conference. Andrew's dad is a bishop at one of the wards there and a new stake president has been called, it was Pres. Monson's son. Andrew thought that we should go there cuz Pres. Monson might be there. when we got there, we seated by Andrew's mom and guess who was sitting beside her??? my AP, Derek Cluff in my mission. small world ha! we're both surprised to see each other. the prophet wasn't there. it was a good conference nevertheless. then, after the conference someone told us that it would be somewhat big cuz the Prophet would be there in a bit. so we've waited. we've waited at the back door outside, Andrew saw the car of the Prophet and told me that he was already there. when he got out of the car, he went to the 3 ladies who were standing by the door and then he went up to us. i introduced myself and Andrew introduced himself and me again. we told him that i was from the philippines and he greeted me in tagalog, "Mabuhay!" today was the best sunday of my life. i still can't believe that i met the prophet and it was not even the General Conference. i've always dreamed of this but i was not sure if it even possible. i've only seen him on delayed telecast of the General Conference in the Philippines and today...it blew my mind. i couldn't stop talking in the car on our way home how awesome today. he actually shook my hand, my little clammy shaking hand. it's like shaking the hand of Moses or Abraham. unbelievable!
